My bead journal project

Due to unfortunate circumstances , Ive fallen way behind in last years project, as well as this years. Im sorry to say that I wont be able to finish either one. I will however , continue on with my bigger pieces, and post them for you while I am working on them, and the finished results. Ive got some catching up to do there too! My latest piece is 20 inches across and very time consuming! I hope you are not very disappointed!

Im almost done with the stitching and beading

I have seventeen little magnifiers from the Target pharmacy counter that I will be attaching to the circles from behind before I put the lids on.

Another step taken

I saved seventeen juice lids and lined the bottoms with silver  embossing metal.( I made bumps with the end of my paintbrush) I then painted them with nail polish in shades of purple. These will eventually be attached behind my open circles. I'm still stitching away there and still doing the bead work.
