Im going for something completly different for the month of April! The eye is of glass which I have decorated with baking clay and crystals.....

Ive got my very first beading blister! I thought I could cut down on some time by starting the design with a hair barrette I made years ago... the center is slightly raised, which gives it more dimension...

Marching along

Ive finished with the embroidered part of this piece. This design is a sort of plan as you go... so im not really sure how it will look in the end. I am getting ready to add the beads and figure out how I want to frame or trim it!
