Im happy to be finished with this one! I think for the month of March I will try to simplify things. ( at least until im caught up with the rest of you..)

Making progress on Feb. piece

Ive finally finished the clouds..whew! The flower and sky are also done. I made a pattern for the leaves.... after painting them with acrylics, I am doing some embroidery and beadwork. Ive decided to top it all off with some fringework falling from behind the leaves. Wont be long now...!

painted lamp and shade 2010

Heres a little lamp I recyled. I cut out holes in the shade and placed angelina film over them. It is painted with acrylics and protected with a layer of gloss.

I will be very happy

when this is finished! I have to put it down every couple of days to let my fingers heal! Once the cloud is done ..... the rest will only take a day or two. I havent even thought about my March project yet.

Back on track with Feb piece!

I am now adding some shades of red thread and beads to the flower, making some lines on blue sky and almost finished with the clouds.

Off the beading path for a while...

Sometimes I need to put the needle down and pick up the brush..... this is broken mirror pieces, different colored glitter, acrylics, and gold leaf. When I get the urge to stitch again... look out! Ill be a stitching maniac! In the meantime, I cant stop playing with light! It seems to change colors, depending on the angle, and is quite sparkly.
