Wow... This one is painful! I am needing to take many breaks in the creation of this . Its mainly because of the stitching involved . It is solid stitching without paint , which is very time consuming , and Im a hurting unit ! My fingers and shoulders ....ow. But.... Im very determined , and I will complete this work , no matter what !
This was painted during a dark period of my life. I normally create and paint about the beauty and wonders of life ! My face is an actual casting of my face and painted gold . I added some more dimension with painted clay blood drops. There are some feathers around the sunglasses . I wish the flash from my camera didnt ruin the mood , and I no longer own the painting . The handle of the sword is slightly stuffed with cotton with some jewels attached .
Yippee ! Ive come full circle with the fire . I have used neon colored threads so it really jumps out at you . Next , I will begin filling up the remaining space with ice . I will be using allot of metallic hologram threads , mixed in with regular threads for the ice . I think different shades of blue and maybe a little blue green will look nice . But , first , its time to take a break from stitching . Im a sore little lady .! I have been spending 12 to 15 hours a day for the past week on this . so far .
